The Adult 12 program permits eligible students to obtain Gr. 12 standing by successfully completing the following courses (total of 7) without having prerequisites:

  • English A30

  • English B30

  • History 30 or Native Studies 30

  • A 20 or 30 level math:
    • Workplace & Apprenticeship Math 20 or 30
    • Foundations Math 20 or 30
    • Pre-Calculus Math 20 or 30
    • Calculus 30

  • A 20 or 30 level science:
    • Health Science 20
    • Computer Science 20
    • Physical Science 20
    • Biology 30
    • Chemistry 30
    • Physics 30
    • Computer Science 30

  • Two grade 12 electives (one of which may be Prior Learning 30)
    • Law 30
    • Psychology 30
    • Energy and Mines 30
    • Cow-Calf Production 30
    • Financial Literacy 30

Who is eligible?

  • Individuals 18 years of age who have been out of school for at least one year
  • Individuals 19 years of age or older

How much will it cost?

  • Between 18 and 21 years of age - if you register before September 30th - FREE
  • Between 18 and 21 years of age - if you register after September 30th - $3500 - $4500 depending on courses selected and resources required
  • Over 22 years old: $3500 - $4500 depending on courses selected and resources required

How long will it take?

You can complete these courses in 1 year - 3 online courses in Semester I and 4 online courses in Semester II.  Some students will work part time and take the courses over 3 or 4 semesters as they work (2 years).  We are flexible and bill you per class.  We will customize your course load to your specific situation.
