Aleksa Bijelic is a student from Central Collegiate in Moose Jaw. Aleksa moved from Croatia to Moose Jaw when he was 9 years old and started school in grade 4.
Aleksa had the opportunity to try out for the UD Montijo Football (soccer) team in Montijo, Spain. UD Montijo is a football team based in the city of Montijo. Aleksa made the team and is now living in Montijio and playing football. Aleska is continuing his Saskatchewan high school education through the Prairie South Virtual School. Aleksa will graduate grade 12 this year and hopes to continue playing soccer. Aleksa’s favourite class is Psychology and he may continue with Psychology at university in Canada. Aleksa is originally from Vukovar, Croatia and after soccer season he will visit his family in Croatia.
Montijo is a town and municipality in the province of Badajoz, in Extremadura, Spain. It has a population of 16,236 inhabitants. It is located between Badajoz and Mérida, near Guadiana river banks.
