Invoicing Procedures
- School divisions invoice their own students
- School division manage their own wait lists and deal with students who don’t pay
- Prairie South will invoice school divisions in Semester I for Power Engineering 20L students
- Prairie South will invoice school divisions in Semester II for Power Engineering 30L students
- School divisions send 1 cheque to PSSD covering all registrations for Semester I and then again in Semester II
- PSSD will deliver textbooks to the school division in the first 2-3 weeks of September
- If a student withdraws from the course, any refunds will be sent to the school division
- Any missing textbooks will be invoiced to the school division
Textbooks
- If textbooks are not returned by July 15th, the respective school division will be invoiced $500
- There are 4 textbooks, Book 1, Book 2, Book 3 and the Academic Supplement - if any of the Books (1,2 or 3) are missing then $500 will be invoiced. If the Academic Supplement is not returned then $65 will be invoiced
- If textbooks are returned with damage above normal wear-and-tear then the school division will be invoiced for the damage. The fee for textbook damage will be determined by the library technician managing the textbooks.
Refunds
Semester I:
- A full refund will be provided if a student withdraws from the course prior to the first day of classes based on the Prairie South School Division Calendar.
- If a student withdraws from Introduction to Power Engineering 20L by September 18th – half of the course tuition will be refunded.
- After September 15th, no refund will be provided for Power Engineering 20L.
Semester II:
- A full refund will be provided if a student withdraws from the course prior to the first day of classes - Feb 1st.
- If a student withdraws from Introduction to Power Engineering 30L by February 15th – half of the course tuition will be refunded.
- After February 15th, no refund will be provided for Power Engineering 30L.
