In each online course there is a provincial curriculum that is followed. Each course curriculum is composed of a set of outcomes. Students who take an online course with the Prairie South Virtual School must attempt each outcome in the course in order to complete the course. A final mark will be submitted to the Ministry of Education only when all outcomes have been attempted in the course.
The 'attempt' may involve a unit/chapter test, a unit/chapter project, a series of quizzes and assignments or some other assessment of the outcome. Each course/teacher will define the 'attempt' at the outcome.
