Prairie South School Division Students
Students attending a school in Prairie South School Division do not pay a fee to take an online course offered by Prairie South. For courses offered outside of Prairie South there is an approval process. Students must register through their schools for outside school division online courses.
Students under the age of 22 who live within Prairie South and are not attending school may take online classes for free; however you will be invoiced for textbooks and shipping. More information about textbook costs can be found here.

Course Fees:
- Students under the age of 22 living within the boarders of Prairie South not attending school, online courses are FREE; however shipping and the cost of resources and textbooks must be paid prior to enrollment in the class. If textbooks and resources are returned a refund will be provided. For more information on this please see the Textbooks - Resources page.
- Students under the age of 22 outside of Prairie South School Divison, tuition fee is $500 per class (plus Shipping and Handling of resoruces and text books) IF the student is attending a school.
- Students under the age of 22 outside of Prairie South School Division that are not attending any other school - online or traditional brick & mortar building, tuition is Free if course registration is BEFORE Sept 30 & you are enrolled in a Semester I course; however shipping and the cost of resources and textbooks must be paid prior to enrollment in the class. - For students 22 and over the tuition fee will be $500 per class plus shipping and the cost of resources and textbooks. All fees must be paid prior to enrollment in the class. - Students and/or school divisions will be sent and invoice for the course(s). We will send you a link so that you can pay via your checking account online. We also accept cheques, please make your cheque payable to Prairie South School Division and add the invoice number to the notes area on the cheque.
- Cosmetology 10 has a $25 consumable fee. The shipping fee for the kit is $30 - which is for one way with Canada Post. The student is responsible for the shipping costs returning the kit.
- Cosmetology 20 has a $50 consumable fee. The shipping fee for the kit is $30 - which is for one way with Canada Post. The student is responsible for the shipping costs returning the kit.

Resources:
If resources are required then an additional fees will be charged to cover shipping and handling of resources. These are the classes we charge shipping fees for:
- Pre-Calculus 20/30 - Textbook $25 [One way shipping, you are responsible to pay for return shipping]
- Workplace & Apprenticeship 20/30 - Textbook $25 [One way shipping, you are responsible to pay for return shipping]
- Accounting 10 - Textbook $25 [One way shipping, you are responsible to pay for return shipping]
- Psychology 20/30 - Textbook $25 [One way shipping, you are responsible to pay for return shipping]
- Cosmetology 10/20 - The shipping fee for the kit is $30 - which is for one way.
For students who require a resource that are not attending school the full fee for the resource will be charged prior to the resource being shipped. If the resource is returned within 30 days after course completition (final mark has been rewarded or the official end date of the class) then a refund will be provided, after 30 days no refund will be provided. If the resource is in the same condition as it was sent a full refund will be provided. If the resource is returned with wear then a portion of the intial payment may be refunded. If a kit is returned with missing items then the replacement cost of those items will be deducted from the refund.
For students attending school if the resource is not returned then the school division/school will be invoiced for the replacement cost of the resource. An invoice will be issued 30 days after course completition (final mark has been rewarded or the official end date of the class).
Refunds:
One half of the total tuition fee will be refunded if a student withdraws prior to the established mid-point of the semester. The mid-point of each semester is: Semester One midpoint - November 2nd, Semester Two midpoint - April 4th.
No refund will be given if a student withdraws after the established mid-point of the semester.
If resources are not returned to Prairie South within 30 days of the completion of the class the school division the student resides in will be invoiced for the replacement costs.
NOTE: Students must formally withdraw from the class to receive a refund. Non-attendance is not considered as notification to withdraw from the class.
